I stopped in the park in late 2009 while on a road trip from Sacramento to Denver with a friend

Heading south on the Alaska Railroad from Fairbanks to Anchorage is quite an experience

but it wasn’t until I was walking along the street did I noticed the interesting facades with the end of a building to provide a reflection as well

This allowed for some nice sunrises along the way

The Merlion is a mythical creature with the head of a lion and body of a fish which is a symbol of Singapore

The lines and patterns on these buildings worked together in this image capturing the architectural details found in Chicago.
